For the 72 Hours Challenge at Raffles Milano, students worked with CUPRA Italia and the artist Andrea Crespi on a collection of cutlery that expresses the CUPRA brand. Three days of brainstorming and prototyping brought together students from Product Design and Interior Design.
The brief asked for pieces that balance harmony, function and sustainability, with a futuristic take on the relationship between people and machines. Students looked beyond the shape of each object and asked how a fork or a knife can change the experience of eating.
The prototypes shown here are the result of a real industry brief developed in just a few days.
